Since 1999 Rotary district 2240 are in accordance with uniform principles of Rotary International, all Rotary clubs operating in the Czech republic and Slovakia.

Rotary District 2240 is an international non-governmental organization responsible for the Czech republic and Slovakia. Rotary clubs are involved in District leadership through their representatives. The highest authority is District conference.

Rotary community's moral values are for all Czech and Slovak Rotary's members expressed by motto, which our district by its establishing permanently entered into his shield, which reads: "Dignitatis memores ad  optima intenti".
