What is Rotary?
ROTARY
is a global community of leaders from various professions who provide humanitarian service and help. They encourage high ethical principles in all areas of life and help to spread good will and mutual understanding and world peace.
These ideas are being developed in Rotary clubs, which meet their members who are thinking the same. The direct bearers of the ideas of Rotary are the individual rotarians who should be an example and live according to the model of rotarian's principles and ideas.
ROTARY
is a community in which is involved 1.2 million men and women, organized in nearly 30,000 clubs operating in nearly all countries of the world.
ROTARY CLUBS
were the first in the world focused on service and support. The first Rotary club was founded by Paul P. Harris on the 23th of February in 1905 in Chicago in the U.S. state of Illionis.
